a forgotten concerto

Hey !Did you realize i'm changing my playlist track ?Apparently ,i'm fall in love with this vieuxtemps concerto !It's a great concerto ,doesn't it ?And this girl ,Valerie Kim is great .Her music was fantastic .And she's still 14 ,wow ..I envy her ,i hope someday i will be good enough to play this piece !practice even harder then :)

I don't know much about this composer ,i was thinking to browse the wiki before i write this post ,but i'm too lazy to do it .Well ,it's okay to browse it right now :

Henri François Joseph Vieuxtemps

Let's see ,he was a Belgian composer and violinist .He was born in Verviers ,Belgium .And wow ,he is known as the second greatest violinist during his time for Paganini reigned .He became friendly with a number of musicians who had been familiar with Beethoven which led to his reviving the "Violin Concerto" already almost forgotten .Hmm ?Is it really forgotten ?If it was me ,i won't forget such concerto ,thanks for composing it Vieuxtemps :)

A lot of things happened suddenly .And it's really tiring lol !

It's been a month with no rest at all ,i've got practice every night with Gading Indah Ensemble ,and school activities on day .After finishing the performance on GKI Samanhudi ,my teacher gave me a Hadyn Concerto for practice .He told me to practice for it ,it happens to be an accompaniment piece for his friend final exam .

The ensemble is really good ,they're high-skilled and experienced with their instruments .Honestly ,i'm not confident being there .Even the 2nd violin better than me ,knowing the situation quite well ,my teacher put me on the front line ,and place me on 1st violin .Yes ,he's insane :(

At first ,i don't really like the situation ,but lately the practice session was amazing ,it's fun .They're not too scary ,and it's pretty fun !Finally the exam came closer and closer .2 days before the performance ,my condition drop .I've got a mild fever ,and the fever still continued up until now .

In result ,i can't concentrate on the piece ,and i've made about 2-3 mistakes on the performance .Luckily ,the jury didn't realized it .And things that surprised me to the most ,my teacher praised me for my performance (?) .Oh Jesus ,is it your miracle ?But i do not care about it ,thanks god :)

My upcoming audition is closer ,and i haven't practice the selection piece yet .Honestly ,i believe that i'll appreciate rest afterward .

i don't care that exam ,haha !

Soon i'll step up and preparing myself to enter a college .But ,there's still an exam to face on this month .It's really frustrating !Actually ,it's not even hard and i'm not studying either .But sometimes it cause a lot of burden in me ,haha .Sometimes ,it even makes me easily get a sudden bad mood .And i can't concentrate on  music too .

Okay ,let's change the topic .My tutor really push me on my limit .I've gotten better at handling it .And i also realize that i've gradually improve my skill ,hahaha !I've started the Carl Flesch's Etude last monday .It's harder than i expected ,and that's why i got scold frequently haha .I'm still preparing for my upcoming audition on 27th of June .I choose Vivaldi's Spring for it .It still on progress though .

Aah ,i hope this exam will end sooner .That way ,i can do a lot of things better than study ,haha .Well ,see ya reader !Gbua :)

best april !

April sure is a busy month .But it's really exciting !I've got quite some job to work on ,hehe :)

On Monday ,19th i will perform with my school ensemble in a school event ,i don't really know it ,i think they called it "Sekolah Mandiri" and stuff .Well ,it's nothing big though .The next one ,is Sunday ,25th still the same ,i'll perform for my school church with the ensemble ,and i started my violin lesson last monday !Finally ,it's been a while since i've got a proper lesson .

I need to practice to make a progress ,on my next lesson ,i'll be learning spring vivaldi .He said that it's an easy piece ,but i don't think so ,we're not too agreeable ,haha .Ooh ,last friday my school celebrate the easter ,well it's sort of late ,haha .And my class won the fashion design contest i'm participating ,but i don't help much .So sorry :(

Aah ,almost forgot !For the upcoming school event ,the ensemble gathered at school yesterday .And we prepared our choosen song ,and practiced it .Some of the ensemble's member ask me about a violin lesson !I'm thinking about it ,i wonder should i accept it in my current state ,but i think i'll take those offers !Thanks pal ,for asking me !

More and more good news ,today my brother will set up the speaker for me ,yay !A really good April !

violin means everything

Oh God ,exam is nearing .It's hurt so much just to think about it .I have to practice for my upcoming audition too ,and i need to prepare myself for the performance in April *Gasp* ,moreover i haven't finished my school assignment too ,Oh God ,what should i do ?!School nearly killed me .I want to make a performance that i won't regret ,but can i ?With tons of work to do .The violin really help me in time like this .Thanks for it God .

Yay !The Nodame Cantabile-Finale has been released in animecrazy.net !It's really good ,as for me it's the best from all season ,i hope that it is endless !It's a movie that will take you to the joy of music !And the piece selection is great .I've watched from the 1st episode to the 8th .I want to watch the rest but i can't do it without my speaker .I can't hardly wait ,real curious to see the rest !

nodame cantabile - finale

After watching for quite a long time ,i thought that if music can gives me so much pleasure and passion ,i think it won't hurt to practice it whole day .But the fact ,it's hard ,not hurt !Yes ,it's really hard to practice ,when we devoting each time of each day we've got ,exerting efforts ,yet there're still someone better than us ,I think it's what we called resentment .Resentment in other means ,like jealousy to the superior .It suits my condition ,i envy those who learn the violin sooner than me ,but that sure wasting time ,it's better to do my practice .Yes i know it i'll try hard for my upcoming week and month ,wish me luck guys !
The ensemble i told before ,it's good and i have fun there .The society is friendly and they're good ,i like being there .I will practice harder,so i won't regret the performance on April .There's someone who made me down ,but i've regain my composure .Blogging sure is relieve my stress .Thanks for hear me out :)

tiresome holiday

It's been a while since the last holiday .And when the time has come ,there's a lot of homework to do *Yucks* .It's not fair how our math teacher give us a different homework with the other class .There are 80 question (and it's quite difficult) .And the other class assignment is a lot easier than our !They've got the examples on each question .And there's one more assignment ,to search for article about human rights ,well it's not hard .We just have to search it and compare it to the bible .

Today ,there's a representative from INTI College Indonesia .I'm not interested .It's boring ,beside i want to continue on music .Ah ,there's one of my classmate who said that "It will be really different once we've entered the college" .Yes ,there's a lot of my friend who loves the high school times .But for me ,it's more than hell ,i've never expected anything worse than school .But as for me ,once i entered the conservatory ,i will enter my real life ,with a new surrounding .Yeah !Can't wait for !

This friday ,i'll started my reherseal with Ensemble Galilee ,hope that i can do good .I don't care about homework .I hope that i have time for it ,at least i have time to finished 1 subject .Wish me luck !

Sibelius - Violin Concerto in D minor Op.47

Sibelius originally dedicated the concerto to the violinist Willy Burmester ,but because of financial reasons, Sibelius decided to premiere it in Helsinki ,but Burmester was unavailable to go to Finland .So Novacek take it over him .The concerto premiered on 8 February 1904 ,with Sibelius conducting ,but Novacek played poorly and the premiere performance was a disaster .

I really love this piece !It's so great and enthralling .I love all of the movement ,i even can't decide on my favorite .The Introduction is the greatest ,and the crescendo make it sound a bit mystical .Most people thought that the melody is sort of depressing ,as for me it's more like a kind of passion that won't be known by other .The entire movement is really great .Shame on Novacek to messed up this piece !

I hope someday i'll be able to play this piece .Yes ,i know it's an extremely difficult piece ,moreover it requires a considerably high level of technical ability on the part of the soloist .I usually prefer easier piece than such virtuosic piece like this one ,but it's the best piece i've ever heard .I'll be practice the violin even more ,hope that someday i can do this piece with an orchestra !May God bless me ,and you !

i miss blogging

Hi readers !

It's been so long ,since i wrote my previous post ,haha (wow for 1 month guys !).I don't have enough time lately .But things never change (tough some have change) .I've got so many troubles lately .The worst thing is i've lost my mobile phone .But i don't feel sad anymore ,beside i realize it now ,i never use my phone for 'communicate' ,well never is too much ,i mean 'rarely' .I just have it ,and sometimes i use it to call my dad/brother to pick me up after school .But the most is i used it for "my musical needs" .

Since i lost my phone ,i don't have any gadget to hear some music ,so i do my practice .But ,my practice is feel happier since i lost my phone .I don't know why but i enjoy it a lot .And i feel that i can produce a more beautiful tone than before .And i love to do my exercise in etude .It's really strange ,but i like this 'strangeness' .Well of course i still have some stories .

My teacher has resign .So i got a new teacher .It's not that i don't like my new teacher ,but his taste won't suit me .I like country ,but i can't do it .I prefer classical than country .But i like both of it .And my new tutor teach me country (i've done 2 lesson with him up until now) .So i plan to quit my lesson this April and take private lesson with my previous tutor .

There's some more ,i'll join the Galilee Ensemble as my teacher suggestion .The conductor is the same one as the orchestra i want to join this September .I'll do my best to pursue their skills !Please wish me luck .Ah ,almost forgot .I've done the "Ret-Ret" .It's not the best ,but i think i got some motivation after it .Thank you !!Well i also thank YOU READER ,haha .One more ,i'm in need of job ,so please let me know if there's any event for violin ,as a performance ,ensemble ,chamber ,etc .Thanks before :)
